1. The initial Lay-in, massing in the light and shadow.
2. The shadows and peripheral darks come first. Keeping a sculptural feeling.
3. Sculpting the form with the light.
4. Heavy impasto on the most lit-up planes.
5. Further developing the light with more paint and highlights.
6. A close-up shot of the eye.
7. The paint looks abstract and beautiful.
Only from a distance, it becomes a highlight
on the forehead.
